Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

The short version: DropColour collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your scores and settings stay on your own device.

Who is responsible

DropColour is made and published by Michel Melo ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the DropColour app for iPhone and iPad ("the app").

What the app stores

The app keeps a small amount of information on your device only, so that it works the way you left it:

  • Your scores — the ten best results, each with the score and the date it was achieved.
  • Your preferences — whether sound and haptics are on, whether colour symbols are on, and the language you picked.

This is stored using the standard iOS preferences system. It is not personal data in the sense of identifying you, and it is not sent anywhere.

What the app does not do

  • It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any account.
  • It does not contain analytics, crash reporting, advertising or social SDKs.
  • It does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use the advertising identifier.
  • It does not connect to the internet. There is no networking code in the app.
  • It does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera or health data.

Device backups

If you back up your device — to iCloud or to a computer — your scores and preferences may be included in that backup, because that is how iOS backups work. Those backups are created and controlled by Apple and by you. We have no access to them.

Deleting the app deletes its scores and preferences from your device. Restoring a backup may bring them back.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected, nothing needs to be consented to and nothing can be requested or deleted on your behalf.

Your choices

There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected. If you want the app's stored data gone, delete the app: your scores and preferences go with it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes what it stores, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
